As we all know, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought challenges to our industry, among them the cancellation of many events and competitions.

 

The Quarter Horse “Horse Improvement Committee” oversees the funds for the Horse Improvement Program, a part of which is the Post Racing Bonus Program. As the competition season for most horse events has been severely curtailed or cancelled altogether, the Committee has decided to adjust the funds available for this program accordingly. For 2020, the funds available for the Post Racing Bonus will be $10,000. This should result in a per point payout similar to previous years. Should competitions return to their former levels in 2021, we foresee the funding returning to its former level also.  

 

The Turn N Burn Club would like to thank Ontario Racing for their continued support. Thank you to everyone that continues to participate in the 2020 Program.  We look forward to seeing all our competitors within this program in the near future. All events hosted by Turn N Burn in 2020 will still qualify for post racing incentive bonus points.
